Completed in Winter 2022, the Luminous House renovation took place just off the outskirts of Nicosia. The design was inspired by the surrounding environment—open fields, the gentle breeze, and the unique blend of old and new buildings typical of Cyprus’s residential areas. The architect aimed to create a harmonious balance between isolation and community, reflecting the essence of a modern Cypriot neighborhood.
The primary objective was to transform an outdated residence into a sophisticated family home. Key enhancements included a stunning rooftop garden and a serene pool area, which not only refined the house’s overall aesthetic but also significantly improved its functionality. These additions provided the family with beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy, blending seamlessly with the interior’s upgraded features.
The Concept of Luminous Design
